CNN analyst revealed how many people will go to jail after Russia investigation
Van Jones, the Political commentator of CNN has said that the Guilty plea of Michael Flynn means a lot of people are about to go to jail.
He was speaking Stephen Colbert in the late night show, the former Obama adviser said while answer a question that whether he thinks its still possible to downplay the Russia investigation.
Jone said “When your main homeboy turns snitch, a whole bunch of people about to go to jail,”.
“That’s how that works.”
Last week, former NSA Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents in one of the most dramatic developments yet in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.
Flynn had agreed to cooperate with the investigation, also the charges he faces carries a maximum penalty of five years in Prison.
George Papadopoulos, former Campaign aide of President Trump, has also pleaded guilty to lying to investigators and is cooperating with Mueller’s team.
Former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his associate Richard Gates, also face charges in the investigation. They have both pleaded not guilty.
President Trump, who has denied collusion with Russia, has repeatedly called the Russia investigation a “witch hunt.”
