Republican national committee has allocated new fund for Roy Moore campaign
AP has reported that the Republican National Committee has allocated a fund of $170,000 to the Alabama Republican Party to support GOP candidate Roy Moore.
According to the Associated Press, The committee made one transfer to the party for $50,000 and another for $120,000,.
RNC has reinstated its support for Roy Moore after President Trump has extended his support for the Alabama Republican. The RNC had halted financial and field support for his Senate bid as a growing number of Republican lawmakers called on Moore to step aside.
An RNC official told media on Monday night, “We can confirm our involvement in the Alabama Senate race,”
President Trump on Monday endorsed Moore, saying in a tweet that the Democrats’ refusal to “give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need” Moore to win in Alabama. Trump later called Moore to offer his full endorsement.
Roy Moore is facing multiple allegations from more than ten women. A woman had accused that Roy Moore had sexual contacts with her when she was just 14 while Moore was in his 30s. After that several women came forward and shared their experience with Roy Moore.
Moore has denied all the allegations and blamed Obama and Hillary for the Washington Post report, which exposed his dark side.
